Industrial Torches are robust, high-performance lighting tools designed for use in challenging work environments such as construction sites, mines, factories, and emergency response zones. These torches offer powerful illumination, durability, and resistance to dust, water, and impact. They are engineered to function efficiently in low-visibility or hazardous conditions, ensuring worker safety and uninterrupted operations. Available in rechargeable, explosion-proof, and waterproof variants, these torches support critical tasks during night shifts, inspections, and rescue missions. Safety Wala Equipments LLP supplies a range of reliable industrial torches tailored to meet diverse industrial and safety requirements.

A flameproof, or explosion-proof, torch contains any internal spark within a robust enclosure so it cannot ignite the surrounding atmosphere, while an intrinsically-safe torch limits electrical and thermal energy so it can never produce an ignition-capable spark. Intrinsically-safe designs suit the most hazardous zones. Both types are used where flammable gases, vapours or dust may be present.
For flammable atmospheres, choose torches certified to ATEX or IECEx, with a marked gas group and temperature class matching your zone. The marking also states the equipment protection level and suitable zone classification. Always confirm the certificate covers your specific hazard, whether gas, vapour or combustible dust, before deploying torches in classified areas.
Use an intrinsically-safe or flameproof torch rated for the relevant hazardous zone, never a standard commercial torch. Fuel storage, paint booths, solvent stores and tank interiors can hold flammable vapours where an ordinary spark risks ignition. Select a certified torch whose gas group and temperature class match the substances present in that specific area.
Inspect the enclosure, lens and seals regularly for cracks or damage, since any breach can void the protection rating. Use only the specified batteries and approved spare parts, and avoid opening the unit in a hazardous atmosphere. Keep threads and gaskets clean, and follow the manufacturer's maintenance instructions to preserve the certified protection concept.
